Shri Akshay Hari, a finalist in 2012 SaReGaMaPa will sing Bollywood songs. It promises to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family.
The goal of our annual Gandhi day event is to promote Mahatma Gandhi’s message of peace, non-violence and unity. At the same time, it is an opportunity to serve the local community - Every year, the proceeds are donated to a local charity. This year all proceeds raised will be donated to Milan Puskar Health Right Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides free health and medical care to the uninsured and under insured.
In the previous 10 years, we have raised about $20,000 from this event. The proceeds from this event have been donated to several local charities: Eye foundation of America (2016), Habitat for Humanity (2015), Stepping stones (2014), Shack neighborhood House (2013), WVU Children's hospital (2012), Scott settlement House (2011), Morgantown Soup Kitchen (2010) and Ronald McDonald House (2009).
